Wind Dancer Silky Terriers is a small breeding program based in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA.  Wind Dancer Silkys are based on lines from Donna Renton, Tawny Mist Silky Terriers, and many of our breedings are done in collaboration with Tawny Mist. 

Health and temperament are of prime importance to us as breeders.  The Silkys used in our breeding program are screened for health issues common to Silky Terriers and Toy Dogs.  Our Silky puppies are raised in our home with a high level of one-on-one interaction to promote happy, outgoing temperaments.  The goal of our breeding program is to adhere to the American Kennel Club Standard for the Silky Terrier.  We produce a small number of litters of high quality Silky Terrier puppies.  You will find many of our Silkys in the pedigrees of top winning and top producing Silky Terriers.  We have owned and or bred many nationally ranked, top winning Silky Terriers including: Ch Tawny Mist Copyright ROMX, Ch Kharah's Native Son, Ch Tawny Mist ShaLee Queen of Denial, Ch Monet's Tawny Mist Mack the Knife, Ch Wind Dancer Tawny Mist Hi Plains Drifter, Ch Tawny Mist Soldier of Fortune, Ch Jenstar Pretty in Pink, Ch Mirage Wind Dancer Noah Genda, and Ch Tawny Mist Goddess of Life.  Please feel free to review our pedigrees online and view the photographs of our Silkys in the Gallery and or the At the Shows section of this web site.
