Wind Dancer Silky Terriers is a small breeding program based in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA. Wind Dancer Silkys is based on lines from Donna Renton, Tawny Mist Silky Terriers, and many of our breedings are done in collaboration with Tawny Mist.
Health and temperament are of prime importance to us as breeders. The Silkys used in our breeding program are screened for health issues common to Silky Terriers and Toy Dogs. Our Silky puppies are raised in our home with a high level of one-on-one interaction to promote happy, outgoing temperaments. The goal of our breeding program is to adhere to the American Kennel Club Standard for the Silky Terrier. We produce a small number of litters of high quality Silky Terrier puppies. You will find many of our Silkys in the pedigrees of top winning and top producing Silky Terriers.
